Assessment Blog - Why Bother?
One of the Burleson ISD district initiatives is classroom assessment. One part of the charge given to the Assessment Department is to help teachers increase in assessment literacy and to improve the quality of classroom assessment district wide. In an effort to fulfill this charge, we have initiated the Assessment Blog. The purposes and goals of this blog are to:
- Provide BISD staff with fundamental information and resources on the principles of quality classroom assessment.
- Provide BISD staff with an avenue to share comments, experiences, questions, and insights into improving classroom assessments.
- Generate diaglogue and conversations among BISD staff regarding classroom assessment.
